Description:
Lake Kununurra was formed when the mighty Ord River was dammed for Western Australia’s Ord Irrigation scheme. The lake sits about 40km below the Lake Argyle dam wall and just above the Kununurra dam wall. It is fed by the controlled waters of the Ord River.
