The 1895 Durack Homestead was dismantled and rebuilt on higher ground to make way for the damming of the Ord River in the early 1970s; it is now an historical museum near Lake Argyle. Here, a delivery box from Gascoyne Traders to Durack in Kununurra is on display (an early version of home delivery).
