The canopy of the oldest tropical rainforest on earth, known as the Wet Tropics World Heritage Site and encompasing 900,000 square hectares, can be seen on the 7.2km Skyrail Rainforest Cableway that runs from Cairns to Kuranda in north Queensland, Australia. Cairns and its suburbs can be seen in the distance at the start of the cableway climb.
