Double-barred Finch (Taeniopygia bichenovii) A group of double-barred finches live in the Savannah habitat (a massive aviary & enclosure) at The Wildlife Habitat in Port Douglas, Queensland. They are part of a captive breeding program and live with a number of other species found in the Australian savannah area. This finch is gathering materil for a nest in a nesting box.
