A Papuan frogmouth sits on a tree trunk, momentarily opening its distinctive red eyes while usually sleeping during the day; this frogmouth species is only found in a small region of the Cape York Peninsula. This particular fellow lives at The Rainforest Dome in Cairns, Queensland.
