Description:
Deep Gorge, on Western Australia's Burrup Peninsula, is an Aboriginal rock art site consisting of massive blocks of stone covered with over 10,000 engravings. Rock art sites have been destroyed and continue to be under threat from mining (iron ore, natural gas) in the entire Dampier Archipelago region. This could be a snake. *Editorial use only.
