A tiny hummingbird nest (possibly Costa’s Hummingbird) measures 1” by 1.25”. A few inactive nests, some with non-viable eggs, are on display in the Hummingbird Aviary in Tucson’s Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum. The materials in this nest are woven together with spiderweb silk.
