A captive southern cassowary (Casuarius casuarius) wanders in its massive enclosure in north Queensland’s Hartleys Crocodile Adventures. The small Australian population is listed as a keystone endangered species: keystone because it disperses the seeds of more than 60 plant species and endangered due to loss of habitat.
