A red-collared lorikeet (Trichoglossus rubritorquis) stretches its wings and calls to its mate sitting close by. The pair were found in a campground in Katherine, Northern Territory, Australia. The red-collared lorikeet was once classed as a subspecies of the rainbow lorikeet (Trichoglossus moluccanus).
