Description:
A row of wasp nests has been carefully built on the surface of a rock art site in the Kimberley region. Over time, the nests become fossilized and can be used to date the rock art. The Bradshaw, or Gwion Gwion rock art has been dated to AT LEAST 14,000 B.P. The Wandjina rock art is much more recent.
