Small clusters of black flying fox (Pteropus alecto), aka black fruit bat, hang upside down in their roosting trees amoung a huge camp (or colony) of bats. They all fly off at dusk to feed on the pollen and nectar of native plants. They play an essential roll in pollination. Kununurra, Western Australia.
