A short-eared rock wallaby (Petrogale brachyotis) awaits the arrival of a sunset boat tour: he knows he will receive some wallaby food. When the Ord River was dammed to create Lake Argyle, some of the animals became isolated on the islands that formed in the flooding of the valleys of the Carr Boyd Range.
